Winter Spiritual Essence

Winter Spiritual Essence

If you imagine a picture of Winter the encompassing feeling should evoke Stillness.

The rivers flow slowly and in certain parts of the world, the rivers freeze creating a tranquil scene of peace and serenity.

From the food you eat, to the cold winter evenings.... the element of the Winter energy is designed to slow you down, and bring a deep inner stillness. Even in climates where they experience Winter rainfall, in the depths of the Winter energy the rain is transformed to snow and ice, further slowing down the motion of Nature’s energy.

Nature slumbers, the nights are longer and time slows down.

In this tranquil stillness, the whisper of guidance found deep within your heart can be heard!

When you know that every answer to every question you have ever asked, is within your own heart, you will stop looking to others for guidance and you will start looking within. The guiding answers found within are the barest whisper, and can only be heard if your inner clamour is stilled and you take time to listen.

The key to finding your purpose in life, can only be found within you. Once you open the door to follow your purpose, then and only then can you light the flame of passion that lights your path to love, happiness, success, health, wholeness and ultimate joy!

There are many paths that lead to the mountaintop, where you will find everything you have ever wanted and deserve, yet there is only one path that will take you all the way to the top...... The path of following your own purpose and passion, by listening to the whisper of guidance found within.

Nature creates this time of stillness and tranquility to slow us down, and silence the clamour of inconsequential thoughts and still those turbulent emotions. In the depth of the Winter stillness, it’s easy enough to just clear our minds of thought.... or just let our thoughts wonder.... allowing us time to just be, and then seek the answers to our own questions.

Start by setting aside just a few minutes ever day just to be still. Just BE.
Then allow yourself an hour each week, to connect with your inner self, listen to your thoughts, identify what concerns or troubles you, and reflect on these issues. Create time and space in your schedule and your life to deal with these unresolved problems and neglected issues. After the [
Winter Solstice 21st - 23rd June ] ensure that you let go of the issues you have resolved and dealt with.... otherwise you will continue to create situations and events that will attract similar concerns and problems. Reflect on the issues you have resolved and problems you have dealt with, follow your thoughts and allow yourself to feel the sense of accomplishment at having completed or finished something.... and then release it by letting go of the issue. Too often in our life, after having dealt with certain issues, we continue to attract similar issues and problems because we fail to let go of them and release them from our mind and heart.

Once your mind is no longer troubled by certain issues, having resolved and let go of them, allow yourself an hour each week to dream about what you want and imagine how you can manifest your dreams into reality.

The Winter energy of Yin!

Yang is male or masculine energy and is expansive and giving.
Yin is female or feminine energy and is nurturing and receptive.

The Winter energy of Yin, is feminine in nature, and being both nurturing and receptive, this is the time of year to heal any unresolved issues that you have towards your father. This healing requires that you take just a little time, and that you are willing to simply free yourself from any anger, grief or fear, that you have related to your male parent. Whether your father is still living or has passed on, it’s important that you focus on the “Spiritual Truth” of the relationship that you have with your father and the person that he is.

Leaving issues unresolved relative to our fathers, often influences our perceptions, with predominant feelings that people are ungenerous and a sense that life is un-giving

How we see a person and how we view what they say and do, is largely influenced by how we feel towards that person. If we are filled with feelings of anger, fear and resentment towards our fathers, then we will see them through a haze of anger, fear and resentment, and everything that they say and do is influenced by our own angry, fearful feelings and resentful emotions.

By being willing to heal the negative emotions and feelings that you have towards your father, you create a softening within your heart. This allows you to be receptive to focusing on the Spiritual Truth of your relationship. As you become less influenced by negative feelings and emotions, your perceptions are more neutral, allowing a more positive perspective.

This more neutral and positive perspective encourages a deeper sense of being receptive. Receptive to forgiveness allows a person to let go of the negative feelings and emotions that were once felt. As you let go of these negative feelings, your personal power increases, allowing you to see the lessons learned and freeing you to feel more confident and secure, creating a deep sense of tranquility and stillness from within.

In seeking wisdom the first step is silence, the second: listening,
the third: remembering, the fourth: practicing, the fifth: teaching others.
