Colour Fun Menu
Colour has been used since the earliest days of our history as a means to heal and uplift our spirits. Most of us are aware of the regenerative effect of sunlight in healing wounds and its role in the body’s making of Vitamin D.

A to Z Therapies
Fundamentally there are two distinctions between orthodox and alternative medicine. Orthodox treatment relies mainly on combating disease with the help of drugs or surgery: unorthodox treatment concentrates on encouraging the body to fight for itself, saying that it is a person's life force that determines the outcome. Orthodox medicine usually isolates a disease or a disorder and treats solely that, alternative practitioners consider the body as a whole, and treat the cause rather than the result.
Six Behaviors that Increase Self-Esteem
Following are six behaviors that increase self-esteem, enhance your self-confidence, and spur your motivation. You may recognize some of them as things you naturally do in your interactions with other people. But if you don’t, I suggest you motivate yourself to take some of these important steps immediately.....
Exploring Grief Creatively.
We all know there are only two things in life we can be sure about and that is life and death. Being human, we form attachments to others: to partners, spouses, lovers, families, places, pets, possessions and even old clothes. So it follows that loss is inevitable in the course of a lifetime.
Joy and Happiness is not always the same things. Happiness can be thought of as more of a temporary, emotional condition, often based on outside circumstances....
The Gift and Challenge of Sensitivity
There is a good chance that your nervous system, your mind and emotions function differently from other people’s. According to recent research a percentage of all populations on the planet, human and animal, have especially sensitive nervous systems. Appreciate the Journey
My wife Michelle and I are expecting our first child in early March! We are very excited, nervous, grateful, curious, joyous, and more as we anticipate the arrival of our little girl. With all of the books, classes, advice, and conversations we have recently encountered, most of the focus of this information has been on “preparing” for the birth and/or for being a parent. I have not heard much attention placed upon enjoying or appreciating the journey.
Do you recall the last time you just stopped?
A temporary slowing down doesn't count.
When did you last stop everything? Pausing doesn't count either. Only a complete halt counts as stopping.
What is your current definition of female beauty. Is it blonde hair, blue eyes, skinny figure, and full breasts? Or, the male version: 6 feet tall, broad shoulders, a perfect smile, perfect teeth, and a super athletic body? If there is a yes or a maybe in your mind, where do you find yourself in those definitions?
How do you measure up?
Identity labels are actually necessary as they shape our behaviour and to an extent our life experiences. The problem lies in associating too strongly with a label. For example the young boy who is labelled a ‘hellraiser’ or ‘troublemaker’ by a parent grows up to be a troubled young man.
Everything Happens For A Reason
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there ... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become.
All human beings have much in common, so much that we speak of the ‘brotherhood of man’. The statement that all men are created equal can only be a statement of belief that all individuals have a right to attain their full development, and not that they are equal in the sense of being alike and endowed with equal potentialities. The spice of our life lies in our diversity, each of us a unique contribution to the life....
Caffeine, The Drug Of Choice
I gave up coffee and caffeine many years ago, based on the effect it had on my eating habits and blood sugar. In December of 1999 during a particularly sleepless and psychically demanding series of concerts and workshops, my guides suggested that I drink a small amount of coffee.
As a result I began to notice changes in myself.
Traditions and their Values.....
When my husband and I first got married more then 17 years ago, we had very opposing ‘traditions’ and yet fundamentally our values were the same. Dave my husband was from a very different background and had grown up in very different circumstances..... Read More
