Powerful Affirmation Technique
I honestly believe affirmations are vital to bring about positive change. Sometimes the manner in which we verbally say and repeat affirmations and the techniques we use, can be more important. Here is a technique that might benefit you when wanting to activate a change in yourself by repeating affirmations.

Method to put Statements of Affirmation Directly into the Sub Conscious Mind
- Create a positive statement that is what you want to experience in your life. Make the statement present tense - eg. I am 100% healthy. (A short list of Affirmations can be found in the ‘Mind versus Matter’ article [ Read More ] there are also Affirmations for Emotional Eaters )
- With arm extended, clench the right fist with thumb straight and facing you.
- Looking at the thumb, draw a figure of eight in the air and follow the thumb with your eyes whilst saying this positive statement out loud three times. Bring the thumb UP in the centre of the figure eight.
- Repeat this same process with your left fist clenched while repeating the statement three times.
- Join hands together and repeat the process while repeating the statement three times.
Now Close Your Eyes
- With right fist clenched, thumb straight, draw the figure eight in the air coming UP in the centre of the figure and follow your thumb with your eyes closed saying the positive statement in your head silently.
- Repeat the process with your left fist clenched while repeating the statement silently in your head
- Join hands together and repeat the process while repeating the statement three times silently in your head.
Open Eyes Again
- Pull on the top of your ear while saying the statement three times
- Pull on the middle side of your ear while saying the statement three times
- Pull on the bottom of your ear while saying the statement three times
Close Eyes Again
Repeat the three steps with your ears and with eyes closed saying the statement in your head silently.
Open Your Eyes
Touch right elbow to left knee then left elbow to right knee while saying the statement out loud three times.
Close Eyes
Repeat the movement of elbows to knees while saying the statement in your head three times.
The statement will now be in your subconscious and it’s like doing 600 affirmations every day for 6 weeks. It really does work, try it!
