Make a Date to Play!
Sometimes it’s really difficult to get our body’s moving after the long [ Winter ] months of staying inside and keeping warm by a heater or a wonderful burning log fire. Even working in an office where the air conditioner keeps the temperature at a moderately comfortable degree, can encourage us to stay indoors and increase our sedentary lifestyle. Spring is the time to get your body moving again, and what a great way to start then making a Date to Play with your family or friends.
If you have young children, surprise them with a visit to the Zoo on a warm Spring morning. If you have teenagers, floor them with your invitation to take them to the beach or park to fly a kite. Really get creative with some fun outdoor activities like rollerblading, a challenging family cricket match, tennis or a bicycle ride.
If the outdoors fails to entice you with it’s blustery weather, than enjoy a shopping trip to the mall, only treating yourself with a purchase after window shopping and walking around for at least 30 minutes. Book an indoor Action Cricket match with your family and friends, arrange a lingerie party and invite a Belly Dancer or Pole Dancer to do a demonstration and get creative in how you can all join in and participate!
The more sociable and fun you make your body moving activity, the more you will feel encouraged to continue the practice.
